In our previous post, we talked about the integration of TrueConf Server with conference room systems. In case you missed this post, you can find its full version here. Today, we’ll focus on the integration of TrueConf Server with Active Directory, telephony, SMTP, and calendars.

Ease of administration with Active Directory

Integrating TrueConf with telephony, Active Directory and calendars 1

TrueConf Server supports synchronization of subscriber data via LDAP which makes it much easier to edit user lists. Thanks to this feature, system administrators don’t have to manually add new subscribers, update data, help users with password recovery, or delete the accounts of employees who no longer work in the company.

Seamless integration with telephony

TrueConf users can call mobile and landline phones; this option will be available only after purchasing a SIP/H.323 gateway for a corporate PBX. This feature is helpful for getting in touch with the users who cannot be reached via a client application. Additionally, you can call TrueConf users or dial in to TrueConf meetings right from your phone.

Integration with email and calendars

Don’t forget to connect TrueConf to your email server! This will enable you to send participants web conference links and automatic reminders about upcoming meetings, or inform them about missed calls and messages. It will take participants no more than one click to add information about scheduled meetings from invitation emails to their calendars.
